The service was excellent, and this is probably the best hotel in Putian. Breakfast had plenty of local dishes. It's near Xitianwei, Hanjiang, where many Chinese overseas from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore trace their ancestors' origins.

The hotel is in a great spot, less than a 10-minute walk from the train station and close to shopping and places to eat. The rooms are spacious, and the buffet breakfast feels endless. The beautiful, luxurious hotel lives up to its 5-star reputation, and the lobby alone will blow you away!

I stayed three nights on my first trip to Shang-La Putian. It's a fairly new addition to Shangri-La Hotel, and I loved my spacious, clean, comfortable room. The facilities were great, and the garden was beautiful. Ms. Mona Mo, the front desk manager, was so friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. My nieces were very happy to get the souvenirs 'Top Scholar Cup‘ from her. Many thanks, and I hope to stay there again!

The gym was the best hotel gym I've ever seen and used. There's a mall across the street, and my room was fine and clean. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient.

The gym and pool were great, and the breakfast buffet had lots of different dishes. The location suited us because we had business in the area, and paths for running or strolling were close by. There wasn't much else nearby, though, with no shopping or restaurants within walking distance.
