A lovely traditional Chinese hotel, and the staff speak English.

My colleague suggested this place, and I booked a business comfort room with a king-size bed. It was neat and very clean, and the free internet was remarkably fast. They brought fruit each day, including cucumbers, nectarines, and an apple. Everyone I dealt with, from the front desk and room attendants to restaurant staff and doormen, was polite. There was a good range at the breakfast buffet. The room phone had lots of static, though, and the connection seemed poor. The refillable shampoo and shower gel bottles felt a little cheap. The coconut-scented gel was actually nice; I'll leave the shampoo at that.
