Getting around is easy, with public buses to other parts of Qingdao and Carrefour, shopping malls, and the Olympic Sailing Center nearby. The showerhead wasn’t very good. In winter, though, the water heater on the flush toilet made things more comfortable.

The location worked well for me, just across from Carrefour and right behind Sunshine Department Store. May Fourth Square is walkable, and a taxi to Pichaiyuan costs 20 yuan. The staff were kind and friendly, and the Korean staff were excellent. The Korean boss makes communication easy for Korean tourists. It has a residency concept, and the price was good for a short one-night stay. The bathroom could be cleaner, though, with water stains.
