The complimentary suite upgrade was much appreciated as a Platinum member of Marriott Bonvoy, and made my stay more comfortable. The welcome was warm, and the staff stayed courteous and attentive throughout. Housekeeping, though, felt rushed: the room was cleaned in around five minutes and wasn't as polished as I'd expected. A more thorough clean would bring it in line with the otherwise good service. I still had a great stay at Four Points by Sheraton, and would have enjoyed it even more with a little more care in the room cleaning.

The hotel's location made getting around easy. It's about a block from the restaurant district, with a convenience store right next door that I heard stays open until 11 PM. My room had no unpleasant smell or water stains, and alongside the standard double bed there was another double bed, so there was plenty of space. Breakfast had a nice mix of Chinese and Western dishes. The hotel was clean and in a great spot.

I wasn't expecting much from the breakfast buffet, but the selection turned out to be surprisingly good. There was a variety of fruit, and they even made dumplings on the spot. The room amenities were decent, the rooms spacious, and the bedding excellent. Though I heard the hotel had only recently opened, it was incredibly clean. With breakfast included, the price was about a third of what a hotel package in downtown Seoul would cost. I'd definitely stay here again if I return to Qingdao.
