The staff couldn't speak English, and the air conditioning was uncomfortable because I couldn't adjust the temperature. I woke up with my shirt soaked in sweat every night.

It's a good, inexpensive chain hotel with a good Chinese breakfast. My room was clean, and the location near the embankment and shopping center was handy. The view of the frozen construction site spoiled things, though, and the outside glass clearly hadn't been washed in a long time.

The soft bed was my favorite, and I also liked the beer tap in the lobby and the great BBQ and noodle shops connected to the hotel. We couldn't visit Qingdao Beer City because of COVID issues, even with daily testing and paper forms, but the hotel, its offerings, and nearby eateries were so good. My experience echoes what other commenters said. I definitely recommend this place.

For the price, this is a very economical hotel. The room was very spacious, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the staff were helpful.

I came back for a second stay because I love the location.
