Samia helped make our stay at InterContinental Qingdao wonderful, and we’re especially grateful for his patience and care. We’re Korean and can only communicate in English, but he assisted us in English and used a translation app when needed. He handled every request professionally, even the small or complicated ones. When we had a minor problem with our first room, Samia took responsibility and stayed with it until it was resolved. He really cared about our comfort and helped us relax and enjoy the trip. He also remembered our special day with warm, thoughtful gestures, which made the visit more meaningful. After we changed rooms, we got to enjoy a clean, beautiful room and watch the laser show from inside. It was a perfect end to our Qingdao trip. We’re so thankful for Samia’s kindness and support, and we’ll choose this hotel again if we return to Qingdao. He gave us some of our best memories from the trip.

Mary the floor supervisor and Qing Fu the floor attendant took great care of me and my room, thank you both. I was here for three days on a business trip, and the hotel was very clean, with spacious, well equipped rooms and fantastic bay views. The breakfast and dinner buffets were very good. A fantastic experience.

The room was satisfactory, and the location made my stay at InterContinental Qingdao even better. Xiao Yu, Miya, and Lily were attentive and thoughtful, and their service was excellent. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good hotel in Qingdao.

In room 1668, during my stay from January 7th to 10th, 2023, I found a dead cockroach on the floor on the first night. At breakfast, I asked the restaurant staff to hold a window table. When I came back with food, a Chinese man was sitting there and refused to move. The staff found me another table, but this shouldn’t happen to me, especially at a 5 star hotel. The service was truly terrible. I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days.

The rooms were clean and in excellent condition, though I couldn’t take photos. The staff were very friendly, and the nightscape views of Qingdao are the best here. It’s a bit far from the city center, but still a worthy hotel choice.
