The staff were lovely, and this is a good pick if you’re traveling on a budget. It’s right in the business district, with restaurants close by and a lively nightlife street behind the hotel. The nearby bar, New York, is amazing for a city like Qingdao and well worth a visit. I was there for the China Seafood Fair, though, and the hotel was still a bit too far from the city center, which was a small downside for the organizers.
