Qingdao Ethos Hotel

Great location. I’ll definitely come back on my next visit.

I chose this hotel in Chengdu based on its description and a photo, trusting my gut. It was the second place I stayed, and I wasn’t disappointed. The reception staff took great care of my needs from check-in until I left, and patiently answered all my questions. My room was kept spotless, and you can see how proud everyone is of the way the hotel is presented. They even have robots that deliver purchases.

There’s plenty of food near Taidong, and shopping and the metro are close as well. It’s a great place to stay, with friendly, good service.

If convenience and a clean, comfortable room matter most, this hotel is good value. It’s right in the middle of Taidong Road, handy for walking around, eating, and shopping. The rooms are clean and roomy, with comfortable beds and all the amenities. A street-facing room may get traffic noise, and you can’t adjust the air conditioning. The staff are keen to help and have a great attitude. Some, especially in the restaurant, speak limited English, but they still put in the effort. Breakfast is the same each day, so it could get dull over a longer stay, and you might prefer eating elsewhere. Wi-Fi is slow and unreliable, which can be frustrating if you need a strong connection.
