I'd call it a wonderful hotel, around 4.5 stars. Breakfast was good, and the large room had both a tub and a shower. It's a 10 minutes' walk from subway line 11, though the hotel is in a remote part of the city, about 10 miles from downtown.

I had a wonderful time here for my sister's wedding on the mountain. The grounds were well manicured, the beds were soft, and it's an easy walk to the metro rail, bus stops, and the expo. Desk staff spoke good English, some better than others, but when you're in China you take any English speaker with grace. They made my last night in Qingdao a wonderful end!
