The scenery around the hotel is lovely, and the location is great. But other guests smoked in the non-smoking rooms, and the smell was awful. I spent six nights in a family room, and for the last two, the smoke was so strong I couldn't sleep properly. I reported it to the front desk. They said they couldn't tell which room it was coming from and apologized. On the first day, the whole corridor smelled of smoke, so they gave me a deodorizer. The next day they asked if I wanted help changing rooms, but wouldn't move me since I was leaving the following day. A staff member then brought an air purifier. I'm grateful to the staff, but the smoke still smells very strong. Otherwise, why would I be coughing and writing this at this hour? To whoever smoked in a non-smoking room: may you have no toilet paper, no taxis, many children and grandchildren, and a long, healthy life. Thank you!

It’s an older hotel, but it’s clean and conveniently located. The harbor view is beautiful.

The staff are friendly, and the view is great, even with scaffolding right in front. It’s a quaint, old hotel, though it’s so dated that it seems due for renovation.

The rooms are spacious and the staff are nice. The Pan-Pacific Celebrity Hotel is in a great spot, directly across from the pier entrance. The lighting in the room is much too dim, though. Two ceiling lights would make unpacking and packing a lot easier.

The bed was so hard that I couldn't sleep comfortably, which cost it a star. Still, the oceanfront view is stunning, and the hotel restaurant and breakfast are decent. The old-fashioned street food stalls by the elevator lobby say a lot about the service. The facilities are aging but well kept, and I had no other inconveniences.
