Qingdao Wushengguan Holiday Hotel

The large windows let in plenty of natural light, and I liked the room's simple style and colors. It was clean and tidy, with fairly new facilities. I heard it had been renovated last year. I stayed in a triple room, which was much bigger than the other standard rooms, with enough space between the TV and bed for another bed. The bathroom was spacious too: sink to the left of the entrance, shower to the right, and a cubicle further in. The left side had plumbing, presumably for a washing machine, and the toilet was on the right. The carpet was soft, and the bed had a medium-firm feel.

We ate dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant and liked the food quality and comfortable seating. The awkward part was the limited meal schedule: lunch is only served from noon to 2, dinner from 6 to 9, and there is no food service at other times. In Qingdao, it's already almost impossible to find somewhere to eat after 2 p.m., so you really have to keep track of the time.
