Qingdao Yunfatins Hotel

There are useful places nearby: a supermarket for basic items, plus a well-known hot pot restaurant across from the entrance. A few other bars and restaurants are around too, though most seem geared toward locals. Shops nearby sell cigarettes, Tsingtao beer, and Chinese liquor, but most close around 9 PM, so get anything you need in the early evening. The hotel is in Qingdao Old City downtown, so getting around is fairly easy. Its service and facilities are much like a standard Korean business hotel. The first-floor lobby is small, and the restaurant is only average in cleanliness. Breakfast is standard business-hotel fare, and the food is average.

There’s a good hotel right next door. This place is being renovated at the moment and might be decent once the work is finished, but I’d only stay here if there were no other options.

The water was dirty. Worst hotel.

The room felt spacious and large, and the view was nice.
