The staff were friendly, and they got our luggage into storage quickly. I was there for two days on a business trip to Qingdao. The old-looking exterior had me expecting less, but the room turned out to be spacious for the price, with a smart toilet and excellent Wi-Fi. The location was convenient for getting around. Breakfast was pretty good too, with black coffee and eggs fried fresh. I’m usually not keen on hotel breakfasts in northern China, though I did miss having scones. Everything else was excellent.

The rooms were very clean, and there are lots of restaurants close by in this central location. The staff were great at helping us communicate with locals who didn’t speak English. They even translated the address for us with our taxi driver.
