The staff were kind, and the room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was good too. There's a pretty large mall about a 15-minute walk away, handy for picking up supper or other things.

The gardens and pond were an unexpected highlight, like stepping out of QingDao into a fairytale setting. The grounds, with views of the Laoshan mountains, made the whole place feel almost like paradise. The restaurants were delicious, and the design throughout was so good that this hotel will be my standard for others. The rooms have large soaking tubs, waterfall showerheads, and warm lighting. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and their English was excellent. Don't let Google's address throw you off, the hotel is halfway between the airport and the coast. I'll definitely come back.

It's a very large hotel, but far from the city center. My room was nice, though the AC didn't work.

There were too many staff members trying to help me all the time. It made me feel like a baby, and I didn't like that.
