The attention to detail is incredible, and the public hot springs and service are top notch. It's operated as a premium experience and is part of Rosewood Hotels, with a clientele made up almost entirely of classy locals. If you can afford it, go for it. Edit: The hotel launched fireworks for a corporate event held poolside in the evening.

The food was the biggest letdown. We had dinner and breakfast there, and although everything looked good, the taste and portions didn't match the price. We all ended up with stomach problems after eating. The room's balcony bathtub was clean and private, but it used tap water, not spring water. We went on the final day of the Chinese New Year holiday, and the room rate was pricey. The staff were young, energetic, attentive, and great overall. The onsen has several small indoor and outdoor pools and was quite good, though it's best to avoid peak times. The swimming pool was nice, but its deepest point was only 1.2m.

Dinner at Lu Ting restaurant stood out, with beautifully presented dishes that tasted delicious. The staff were remarkably attentive and often went above and beyond. The venue and activities make for a good weekend getaway, with something for everyone. My stay at the New World Qing Yuan Hotel exceeded expectations from beginning to end. It was a memorable experience.

The buffet dinner is good and worth trying, and breakfast has a wide selection. Some staff could improve their attitude, though most were attentive and polite. It's a large, well-equipped hotel suitable for either a big or small resort stay. The location is somewhat remote. The facilities are five-star, while the service felt like 4.5 stars.
