The heated indoor swimming pool is one of my favorite features, and there are also meeting rooms and fitness facilities. The staff are very friendly, with most speaking English. Rooms are clean and well maintained, and there's a wide range of food to suit Eastern and Western tastes. One of the best places to stay if you're in Quanzhou.

The hotel is close to Xiapu Village, the birthplace of the hairpin-making tradition, about a 10-minute drive away. The old town is roughly 20 minutes by car, so I think it's a great base for a short Quanzhou trip. Its location in the new urban area brings natural scenery and city life together, making it easy and enjoyable to explore. This time we were upgraded to a spacious suite with elegant decor and a glimpse of the sea. The lobby is bright and roomy, and the room was clean, with excellent housekeeping and very new facilities. Turndown service was a thoughtful touch. Our customer service manager, Xiaoya, was warm and professional, attentive to what guests need, and offered personal service that made the trip more comfortable. Quanzhou Donghai Yuehua Hotel is a great choice.

It's a five-star hotel at a good price, and the food is tasty. I've stayed here several times for work. My issue is that, overall, the customer-facing hotel staff don't know much English. Room 1815 is recommendable. The gym is pretty well equipped for unwinding.
