The staff were friendly and responded well whenever I raised an issue, but they need better training to match the hotel's location and facilities. I chose it after having a great stay at its sister hotel in Xiamen. I had booked three consecutive one-day stays for the trip, yet reception didn't activate my key until checkout day. After a tiring walk around the city, I had to return to the desk to get it activated. They also told my mom, who was staying in another room, to activate her key every day. That was ridiculous. There was a decent workspace but no power outlets for a laptop. The lotion came in a fancy bottle that was very hard to squeeze, and the TV remote didn't work at first. A staff member had to show me the trick for opening the channels. With service issues like these, the place isn't one I'd recommend until things improve.
