The grounds are beautiful, and the western-style rooms are nice. You can walk to the old wall and riverside from here. It's a cool boutique hotel in a former government house, which Confucius apparently lived in for a while.

The room was clean, with a view of the courtyard, and the price was reasonable. I liked the location and the simple, traditional architecture. The building used to be the seat of government.
