WM Hotel Hong Kong, Vignette Collection by IHG

The setting was a real highlight, right by the ocean with lovely surroundings and an easy walk to local restaurants and the town area. It felt convenient without being crowded. Our stay at WM Hotel Hong Kong exceeded expectations. The hotel was spotless, well kept and comfortable, with attention to detail throughout. The outdoor spaces and facilities are great for families and suitable for guests of all ages, and it’s very kid-friendly. Staff were consistently welcoming, friendly and professional. We felt looked after, and the team went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was an excellent buffet with plenty of fresh, high-quality choices for adults and children. We also enjoyed the other dining outlets, with great food, a good atmosphere and excellent service. We truly loved our stay. WM Hotel offers a nice balance of comfort, quality, value, location, food and service, and we’d highly recommend it to families, couples or anyone after a relaxing seaside hotel experience in Hong Kong.

The staff we met were excellent, and we liked our stay so much that we added another night. Even by our standards, eating at the buffet restaurant was unusual, but it turned out to be good value, with high-quality seafood and meat. The two-hour drink package was also great value, and we had a good drink at the sports bar. WM Hotel is part of the IHG hotel group, which I only found out at check-in. It sits right on the sea front, with lots of restaurants and bars a short walk along the water. Standard rooms are huge, the bed was very comfortable, and it was extremely quiet. The big bath got used and appreciated every day. The room had all the modern conveniences you’d expect, including a Nespresso machine with pods replenished daily, which was welcome in the morning. The 75m rooftop infinity pool is spectacular and a lovely place to relax and enjoy the view.

The buffet breakfast had an excellent range and quality of food and drinks. For a base to explore Sai Kung’s natural wonders, this was a lovely choice, and we hope to return soon. As an IHG Diamond Ambassador, this was my first stay at this beautiful IHG property. We were visiting Sai Kung for the first time as international tourists, and it had been on our bucket list for a long time. We felt lucky to find this property under the IHG umbrella. The hardware is excellent for a Vignette property, and we appreciated the upgrade to a balcony room overlooking the sea. Sitting out there and enjoying the view was relaxing. The room was well designed and comfortable, with excellent sleep and shower quality. Be sure to see the rooftop pool, with its breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and sea. We didn’t swim in the frigid water because it was winter, but it must be a popular summer activity.

I’m back for my third long-term stay at this excellent hotel. A big thank you to Vikram Kakroo, the General Manager, and all the staff who’ve made me feel so welcome. The front desk team are efficient, the restaurant staff are great, and the swimming pool and gym staff have all been helpful. Mei Ling always keeps my room clean and tidy and is so helpful, she makes me feel at home. The other cleaning staff do a great job too. Thanks as well to everyone who brings me coffee and cream when I run out. It’s a fantastic, peaceful hotel with all the facilities you could hope for, and I highly recommend it. Ramsay Room 1121
