The boxed breakfast they gave us over Spring Festival was better than I expected, and the staff were helpful and professional throughout our two nights. The room was small but comfortable, with a cozy feel, and everything was very clean. The bathroom was spotless and had good equipment, including a smart toilet. Getting around was easy too, with subway stations and Sanlitun shopping district close by in the heart of Beijing. The price was very reasonable. I only wished there were a closet or somewhere to hang jackets and clothes.

The location is very convenient, and the hotel seems good in general. But the tiny rooms are a nightmare. I knew they were small, but with it at -6 degrees Celsius in Beijing, the air conditioning in my room could only be set to 26 degrees, so it was unbearably hot. Before I found that out, I asked to extend my stay. They quoted one price, then gave me a higher one after I agreed, once the two receptionists had talked between themselves. I was charged several times. The whole thing felt strange and shady. That's how this hotel operates.
