The food was amazing, and I loved the pools and the view. The rooms were really nice too. Getting to a convenience store meant a 30-minute walk, though, since the hotel is up in the mountains and a bit out of the way. The beach is still close, so that was fine with me.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with food that felt more authentic and tasted better than at some other international chains. The hotel is also within walking distance of a deer park and the commercial area of Donghai Bay. Our standard room was decent, though the layout and doors were confusing, and housekeeping could improve a little. The photos look nicer than the place does in person, but for the price and location, I thought it was a good stay. They offer rentals of 30 days or more for RMB 10,000+ per month. I’d recommend it and would consider coming back.

The map pin is off by around 200-300 meters and sends you uphill into a shabby, unpleasant area. If you lose your way, look for Haiyun Road. The hotel is at the far end, about a 15-minute walk from the main road.

Our apartment was spacious and very clean. It was also conveniently close to pineapple mall and Sanya train station, while Dadong hai bay, with its clear blue water and plenty of seashells, was just a five-minute walk away.
