Atlantis Sanya Hotel

For families, having the water park and aquarium included makes the stay especially fun and good value. Our family had a great time. Even though Atlantis Sanya is huge, with lots of rooms and guests, it felt organized and things ran smoothly, including during busy periods. Elena Hu was especially helpful. She was flexible about our requests and took great care of us throughout the stay. Her support made a real difference.

Fatima made a huge difference right from arrival. During check-in, we realized my partner's passport was missing. While my partner made the 45-minute trip back, Fatima called and coordinated with the airport staff, and they found it before my partner got there. She stayed available for questions and anything we needed throughout our six-night anniversary and birthday trip. We had a king imperial ocean view suite, and the room was stunning, with top-notch in-room amenities. Theme park and aquarium access were a great extra. The Imperial Club was worth every cent for us. Breakfast there beat the two buffets downstairs, and the service was 10/10. Afternoon tea and evening food and coffee were available too, so we never went hungry or thirsty. The cafe is open all day, and we loved the coconut lattes. The view was impeccable. As a couple, though, we probably wouldn't stay again. It's clearly a family resort, and with 70% of the pools blocked off, there wasn't much room. At other theme park hotels, we've found a closed club area or an adults-only section at the pool or beach. Our scores: service 10/10, room 10/10, food 8/10 based on breakfast and the Imperial Club, pools 4/10 because so much was closed, and amenities 10/10.

We barely needed to leave the resort, since it had so much to do: a huge aquarium, water park, several outdoor pools, shops, bars, play areas, restaurants, and multiple shows, including a live performance of “C show”. There was direct access to the beach too, though the waves were powerful. Our room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the ocean view was spectacular. It had daily bottled water, fruit and nut bowls, slippers, robes, and a security box. I felt at home while still being thoroughly pampered. Staff were pleasant and helpful throughout, and paid attention to even small details. I’d recommend an Ocean View room with Imperial Club access. It was good value, with delicious breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails with light dishes. The healthy food selection was wide and changed daily. The Club staff were gracious and kept the food counters impeccably clean. Their service really stood out. I've stayed at many high-end hotels around the world, and The Atlantis is among the best. The whole resort has a relaxed, lively feel, with fun for families. It’s my best hotel stay to date.

The aquarium, enormous waterpark, and striking design had me in a constant state of wow. Even the sudden appearances by Disney characters in the lobby and by the pools added a kind of magic I don't think Dubai quite matches. The place is so impressive that the seven-star label almost feels too low. I've never experienced a hotel more impressive than Atlantis Sanya, and yes, I think it surpasses Atlantis in Dubai. Everything feels bigger, more refined, and more breathtaking. Some guests wander around in white robes just to show they're staying here, not because they're going to the spa. Honestly, I can understand it. If I lived here, I'd probably wear a robe all day too. Atlantis Sanya feels like an experience and a statement, with luxury that even Atlantis Dubai struggles to reach.
