I'd put the hotel closer to three stars than four. It's old, the rooms and plumbing feel dated, and breakfast is average. The linens are clean, the towels are decent, and they replace them daily. Staff are friendly but don't speak English, and the air-conditioning controls are in Chinese. The sea is a 10-15 minute walk away, or you can take the small free shuttle that runs every 15 minutes. There are no changing facilities on the beach. The shower was destroyed by a hurricane, and the restroom on the neighboring beach is paid, and you may not be allowed to use it.

The rooms on the higher floors had great views, and the hotel was near the night market. Breakfast was decent, though the accommodation was dirty.

The space is fine, but the humidity in the air needs improvement.
