HUALUXE Sanya Yalong Bay Resort by IHG

The dinner buffet at the main restaurant was the highlight for me: beautifully presented and refined, and far beyond what I expected. It honestly felt on the level of the world's top resorts. Lunch at the family restaurant on the 2nd floor was also fresh, flavorful, and carefully prepared. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was very good quality. Our room was modern and comfortable, with everything we needed, and the concierge handled every request easily. The hotel feels brand-new and spotless throughout. Its setting is distinctive too, with forest behind it, a quiet lake to the side, and elevated sea views. The beach is just a 2-3 minute walk away, past a few boutique shops. There are lots of places to unwind, including a calm lobby with a sea breeze and comfortable seats. The 3rd-floor pool has wide sea views and is great for photos; there’s also a children’s pool and a lively game center. Abby and Nicole were warm, attentive, and professional, with hospitality that could rival even the finest 7-star hotels. This was more than just a hotel stay. For luxury, scenery, and service in Yalong Bay, this is the place.

Molly at reception was especially decent, and all the staff were very nice. The hotel itself is fantastic. They picked me up from the airport for free and gave me lots of gifts. Happy New Year and Merry Christmas!

We spent two weeks at this beautiful hotel and had a wonderful vacation. The rooms were clean and the service was excellent. It’s clearly geared toward families, with playrooms, activities, contests, and entertainment for children. We loved the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, and there was live music every evening. A special thank you to Daisy in the restaurant. She was always friendly, considerate, responsive, and perceptive, a wonderful employee and person. We’re also grateful to the children’s activity leaders. We and the kids grew very fond of them; the children always had fun, and we could relax without worrying about them. I hope we’ll definitely come back.

Yalong Bay beach is just across a small road, and the hotel has its own loungers there for guests. Jerry and Tia, thanks for the great service! This was probably the most kid-friendly luxury resort we’ve ever stayed at. Loved the thoughtful little sink for kids in the bathroom and the bunk beds with a slide. And of course, princess alpaca!
