The room suited our family really well, and I loved it. There’s a kids’ room and laundry on L3, plus good room service. The location is handy too, with lots of food nearby and a big night market just across the road within walking distance. I took off a star for the cleaning: there were two cigarette butts beneath the toilet sink when we checked in, and a moldy patch on the back of the sofa.

The apartment was spacious, clean, and luxurious, with a great sea view, and we enjoyed every day of our stay. Breakfast offered lots of variety, so we could treat ourselves each morning. There’s a large convenience store right beside the service apartment, and across from it is a big night market full of local food. Thanks especially to Jimmy, the swimming pool lifeguard, for being so attentive and helpful. I’d certainly recommend this service apartment to family and friends visiting Sanya.

The staff were the best part of our stay. Amy from reception, a beautiful and very kind lady, gave us her WeChat number and was always ready to answer our questions. We felt at home throughout. The apartment itself is new, fresh, and nice, with a very comfortable gym and swimming pool. Complimentary laundry was really useful for our long stay.

We had a breathtaking sea view from the balcony, and the rooms felt fresh, with nice furniture and an equipped kitchen. Oakwood Apartments in Sanya is a very nice place to live, newly built in 2019. The bathroom was comfortable, with a very strong rainforest shower. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit and juices. There’s a nice big pool and fitness center, and laundry is free of charge. Right in front is Yi Heng night market, with different restaurants and a big supermarket. The staff were very hospitable. Thanks to Amy, who speaks English very well and is kind and helpful with all our questions.

The service apartment is centrally located, close to shops and about a 30-minute walk from The Mangrovetree Sanya Resort. Be prepared for nearby casket and headstone shops.
