I really didn't like this resort. The service was very bad, the breakfast choices were so limited, and it was really noisy.

There are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby, including a night market, and the bus stop is right outside. The grounds are pleasant and kept up, with a clean pool, and the location is hard to beat: a green lakeside area, the sea across the road, and Sanya's best sandy beach with the hotel's own loungers. Breakfast and dinner were tasty, with fish and seafood always available. I don't eat meat, so that mattered to me, though there's plenty of meat too. Maybe they could have had more fruit.

We booked a garden-view balcony room, and it had what we needed: towels, a hairdryer, a safe, toiletries, working air conditioning, and decent water pressure. It was cleaned daily, with water and toiletries topped up. The hotel feels a bit tired, but it's clean and cozy. The setting is lovely, on Yalong Bay near the sea, with cafes, shops, and medical centers within walking distance. There's a moderately busy road in front, followed by the sea; behind the hotel are a pool, a place to relax, and a lake with a promenade. The grounds are green, with hammocks and birdsong, while the immediate surroundings are very quiet. We had breakfast and dinner included, with Chinese food and dishes more familiar to foreigners. Dinner had 2-3 kinds of ice cream, which was delicious. Fruit was limited: always melon, orange, and watermelon, and sometimes dragonfruit and guava. You have to pay a deposit when checking in, in any currency. I have no complaints about the staff, though I didn't really need to contact them.
