Sanya Bay Guest House All Suites Hotel

The grounds are green and the pools are clean. The hotel was good, with a large room and balcony, and housekeeping came daily. We stayed in October during the fall holidays. Breakfast was mostly Chinese, but there was enough to eat. Dinner costs 198 yuan per person, with live music, grilled seafood, and beer. It's a long way from the cafes and restaurants, though the bus stop is nearby. There are no sun loungers on the beach.

We loved this hotel so much on our first stay that we cancelled our other booking and came back before our flight home. I'm sharing our experience from both bookings. It's about a 10-minute drive from the airport, and we paid 15 yuan. Check-in was quick, the staff were friendly, and they let us into our room early. Our first room had a garden view and a large, comfortable balcony. On the second booking, just before our flight from the island, we were upgraded and got to see another room. It had an extra living room and two connecting balconies. We loved the bathroom too, a must-see! There was a great variety of rooms. The grounds are small but very green. Three pools sit next to each other, with different shapes and depths, so you can pick one. We liked the sports pool, which was 140-150 cm deep, and enjoyed swimming there in the evenings. The pools and the nearby towels are available until 10 PM. There were always free loungers during our stay. For kids, there's a foam rolling animation in the children's pool at 4:30 PM. We also saw cartoons on a screen set up on the lawn in the evening. The beach is across a small road, at a pedestrian crossing with traffic lights. The sea is opposite the hotel, with an easy, gradual entry. There aren't loungers on the beach, but it was convenient to go back to the pools and relax on one there after swimming. Breakfast was good, with soups, fruit, and omelets. We didn't eat dinner, but saw it being served outside on the lawn with a barbecue. It smelled delicious. Like elsewhere in Sanya Bay, there's a bus stop nearby, with rides anywhere for 3-4 yuan. For cafes and shops, leave the hotel on the left, walk to the intersection, and go away from the sea. Just after the bridge you'll find them. That's where we bought the cheapest fruit of our whole trip, after vacationing in four bays!

Wonderful hotel and a beautiful beach. The pools were clean, and the food selection was great! Close to the airport. I highly recommend it.

We liked our stay. The hotel was comfortable and reasonably priced. We're not fussy about food, so the meals were fine for us.
