We had a peaceful stay in an Egret villa with its own pool, surrounded by rainforest and fresh air. There are loads of activities and scenic spots to explore, including the glass bridge, rope bridge, rainforest 7D cinema, rainforest drift and lovers road. A few activities come with complimentary tickets. The service is the best part: transport runs all day and comes very frequently. You can reach them on WeChat at any time, and they respond right away.

The resort is spread across four mountain areas, each with its own pool, kitchen and dining area, and shop. Free electric carts are available all the time to take you between the hotel areas and sights like the Suspension bridge, viewpoint peak and coast. It feels almost like an amusement park. The views and overall experience are hard to beat, with rooms ranging from tiny one-bedroom spaces to a huge presidential room, all surrounded by trees up on the mountain. It's not quite up to western chain hotel standards, and service can be a bit rough in places, but the setting makes the stay special.
