Atour Light Hotel Hongqiao Beixinjing Metro Station Shanghai

This Atour is only a few subway stops from the busy shopping district and Hongqiao station. It's in a mostly residential area without big malls nearby, but there are plenty of restaurants and eateries around. The location is particularly convenient for the subway: of the Atour hotels I've stayed in, this one was closest to a station, right beside Exit 4 of Beixinjing subway station. I stayed here at the end of my solo trip, before leaving Shanghai. Compared with the newer Atour hotels from earlier stops, this one feels a little older. The storefront is small and unassuming, though the decor has its own charm and there are quite a few rooms. My room wasn't large, but it was simple and clean. The lobby and restaurant have a retro look. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, as it usually is at Atour. The building also has an outsourced gym open 24 hours, which you can enter with your room card. For an Atour in downtown Shanghai, the price is reasonable. With the convenient location, I thought it was good value.
