Lego Land is within walking distance, and the hotel is a beautiful place to stay with children or for business if you want to avoid the bustle of city life. Downtown is the drawback: it’s almost a two-hour drive, though taking the subway and transferring to the metro, or the other way around, takes about an hour. The hotel and management staff were excellent, and breakfast was amazing every day. I’d definitely stay again. Five stars to Rene, the front manager, he was excellent.

A big thank you to the front line team at Canopy Belfry, especially the hotel room division manager, for helping my family on 24 November. We missed our transport back to the city, and in the cold, windy weather they let us wait in the lobby and arranged another ride, even though it was late at night. With our small kids along, we were kind of lost, so we really appreciated the help. Hilton should be proud to have such dedicated staff. Keep up the good work. Cheers and love from Singapore 🇸🇬

We stayed one night in December 2025, and this was the best of the three hotels we stayed at in Shanghai. The rooms were spacious, modern, clean, and had everything we needed. Legoland is only a 3-5 minute walk away, and there’s a mall within walking distance with lots of restaurants and shops. We wished we’d stayed two nights, and I’d highly recommend it for a Legoland visit. The drive is about 1.5 hours. We got lost because our driver went the wrong way, on small roads surrounded by farmland.
