The staff were friendly and helpful, and let me check out late. They gave me bottled water freely, and had a device to translate what we said so we could understand each other. My daughter lost her ring in the room, which was immediately occupied by another guest. They haven't found it yet, but the staff and cleaners promised to keep looking and contact us once they know more. The hotel is only a few hundred meters from Wuding West Stn, but the neighborhood was surprisingly quiet, even at night. I slept right through because the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom light switched on and off automatically when you went in and out. Each floor had a high-tech looking laundry and dryer area, free to use. They also offer complimentary wonton soup for supper, though I didn't try it during my two nights there.

The design and layout were nice, and the room had everything I needed. Staff put in an effort to make the stay feel special.

Seriously ridiculous. The central air conditioning didn't work until May, and all they eventually gave me was an electric fan. What a strange decision by the company.

A solid option if you're visiting Shanghai to see the sights.

Getting around from here is convenient, and the price is good value.
