There’s a little convenience shop behind the lobby, or by the restaurant, with packaged snacks and bread. Staff were friendly, and it’s a good base if you’re visiting Disneyland. The hotel has a free shuttle to Disney, about 8 minutes away, and a free shuttle to Pudong airport, around 45 minutes away. Book ahead and check the times. I needed to reach the airport by 1pm, but the 9am shuttle was full and the next one at 12:30pm was too late, so I paid Yuan 200 for transport. There isn’t much sightseeing nearby. Bicester Village (Shanghai village) is fairly close by car for shopping and food. The rooms are clean, spacious and well kept, and toiletries are provided. No bidet, though. The breakfast restaurant is large with an okay range of food, but it repeats the same dishes. You can order supper at the restaurant or to your room until 11pm.

The free laundry room has washing machines and dryers, so please use them responsibly. Service was fabulous, and the hotel is affordable and really close to Shanghai Disneyland, with a free shuttle in both directions. I’d happily come back.

We found the staff kind and helpful, and the buffet breakfast had plenty of different foods to choose from. The room was clean and spacious. Having a complimentary shuttle between the airport, hotel and Disneyland made getting around convenient.

The breakfast was impressive, and the hotel staff were professional, attentive and always willing to help with a smile. My spacious room had all the amenities I needed, and the cleanliness and upkeep were particularly good. A wonderful stay with hospitality that felt beyond five-star.

The place was clean overall, but it felt old-fashioned and outdated, and the upkeep could be better. There was a slight musty smell. The staff weren’t especially helpful, and they didn’t really speak English.
