Getting around the city was straightforward, with a subway station under five minutes away, though the rides took a while. We also had malls about a 15-minute walk away, plenty of places to eat, and convenience stores just two minutes from the hotel that we used often. After more than a week here, I found the spacious, modern room comfortable, with a fridge, and housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast had lots of choice and was excellent too. The pool was very busy and not especially appealing, as it seemed to be used by the general public.

Hubert was especially attentive and helpful, and made our stay much better. The hotel is close to Fudan University and easy to reach, particularly by taxi. Our room was clean, large and comfortable, with really soft beds.

During my two-week work trip, I was away from my baby and needed to keep my breastmilk frozen. The concierge staff knew what to do as soon as I brought it down, and helped store all of it with a smile so I could take it home in excellent condition. I'm very grateful to everyone at Crowne Plaza Fudan for that help. Housekeeping was professional and detail-oriented, keeping the room in order and providing nightly turndown service. The care and service from all the staff were impeccable.

The upgraded suite had everything I needed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and the hotel is conveniently across from Fudan University. Getting to public transportation takes a bit of walking, though. I really enjoyed my stay at Crowne Plaza Hotel Fudan Shanghai.
8/10
The staff were helpful with travel arrangements. I especially appreciated the person who checked that we had the right transport and made sure the details were clear with the drivers. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities. It's a nice place for a few days, a little away from Nanjing Road in the city center, but well connected by metro and other transport. For vegetarians, they can make pizza and pasta, as well as fries and spring rolls, and there are good beer options too. Highly recommended.
