Water was dripping from the ceiling, and there was very visible black mold. Nasty place, stay away!

We only needed somewhere to rest before checking into our downtown hotel at 3 PM, but the treatment we got made this my worst experience. The website's check-in details didn't match what happened. I booked a six-hour room from 7 AM and arrived at 5:40 AM. One receptionist gently explained there wasn't a room ready and said we'd need to wait for the cleaners at 7, then another 30-45 minutes for cleaning, so we waited in the lobby. A different receptionist, a girl, was very rude. She insisted check-in wasn't possible until 9 AM and wouldn't even look at my mobile reservation. When we got angry and were preparing to cancel, she demanded we pay the driver's pickup fee, then said she'd ask her superiors to waive it. One front desk staff member was extremely rude. I don't recommend this hotel.

The room wasn't very clean, though the price was really cheap. The staff were kind and offered an airport bus service. Shangai airport is about a 15-minute drive away.

I booked a six-hour room from noon to 6 PM, but the shuttle delay ate into that time and they still insisted I check out at 6, with no refund. I arrived around 1 PM, yet the hotel said the booking hours couldn't change. The pickup was a mess too: I waited nearly an hour for the shuttle. First the front desk said it was on its way, then when I called again half an hour later, they told me I had to call the driver myself. It took another half hour for the pickup to arrive. A completely negative experience. Avoid!
