The room was superb and had a couple of unusual touches: a heated towel rack, which I'd never seen before, and a wireless charger. The location is excellent, with cafes, shops, and a convenience store nearby. Just keep in mind it's about 300 meters from Donghu hotel. Service was so-so, and breakfast being in the other building, the Donghu hotel, was a bit of a hassle.

The building used to be home to a famous Shanghai mafia boss, which gives the place unique historical value. Its location is great, with loads of local and international dining options nearby.
