The staff are quite helpful, but my room was a mess because the people staying there were inconsiderate and too lazy to clean up their own things. This hostel is on the third floor of a hotel, though it has a different name. It’s a huge dormitory complex, and maybe 95% of the residents are local Chinese rather than tourists.

Once you find it, this is a good place to stay, and the tall building makes it easy to recognize again. The hostel is now called Moreland Hostel, not Douyuan anymore. It can be hard to locate: after Nanjing road East, look for a really tall building. Count the traffic lights on your map, and at the fourth one after the train station, that luxury-looking building is the one with the hostel inside. There’s a Manner's cafe across the avenue, with the hotel building opposite it, which may help you spot it.

I don’t recommend this place. The hotel is abandoned, completely run-down, and unhygienic. I’m grateful to the employees who understood and agreed to refund my stay. Thank you for being professional.
