The location was a real plus, with a very urban neighborhood, shopping malls, and a Line 10 metro station nearby. Fudan University Campus is roughly 1 km away. I stayed for two weeks and had a pleasant time. The room on the seventh floor was clean enough and had the usual basics, though I couldn't use the TV since it only had Chinese channels. Water pressure in the shower was sometimes poor, but I could see the tall buildings around the Bund from my room. My hosts had booked it, so I don't know the price. Don't count on the staff speaking English. At breakfast I sometimes had to ask for a fork and knife, and the only way I could was to show them the request written in Chinese.

I'm here in quarantine, and this is a bad hotel. There's no Wi-Fi, and nobody speaks English.

For quarantine, it's okay, though the food gets tiring after a while.
