The room was comfortable, with a good bed and a roomy balcony, and I slept well in the quiet neighborhood. Having a decent supermarket across the street was handy. Still, this felt like a solid 4-star place rather than real luxury. Housekeeping was inconsistent: sometimes the trash was left and towels weren't changed every day. Staff were polite but seemed unenthusiastic. Breakfast was disappointing too, with limited choices, especially for kids. I expected more from Hilton. It's a reasonable option for a peaceful, quiet stay. I'd rate it 3.5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️.

The staff were friendly, though most spoke Chinese. The hotel is new and the rooms are great, but the location is only so-so, with few places to eat nearby. American Express wasn't accepted, which seemed questionable, and AliPay was the only payment option available. I could still hear arriving airplanes from inside my room.

My stay at Hampton by Hilton No. 377 Panlong Road, Xujing Town, Qingpu District, Shanghai was terrible. I left money in my room, and the reception staff took a long time to clean it. This happened on June 4, 2026.

The bed was comfortable, and firmer than beds I've had at some other hotels. The room had a roomy shower with enough water pressure even for the rain shower, plus a little sitting area and a table for work. The rooms are modern and well-equipped, aside from the usual carpet. The hotel is conveniently located near both the city and the airport.
