We spent over a week in the suite and really enjoyed it. The place was pleasant, the rooms were very clean, and the views from both the room and the gym over the neighborhood were great. The soaking tub was a nice feature. The laundry arrangement was so kind: the front desk said we could drop it off in the morning and have it washed for free, though they couldn’t press it. The aunties were super sweet too. One odd thing about the suite is its dividing wall. The TV pivots between the two rooms, leaving an open space around it. It worked out okay, but we were trying to keep our baby in a separate sleeping area so she wouldn’t wake at every little noise, and it felt funny having what was basically a hole in the wall. Great value, and we had a great stay.

The staff were friendly and professional, and the hotel itself was spotless, well cared for, and nicely styled. For three people, the rate was just 850 RMB, which felt very affordable. It’s about 20 minutes from the Bund, Shanghai’s most popular and attractive area, and the neighborhood has lots of places to walk, hike, shop, or just relax. Buses come by often, too. I’d happily recommend it.
