The rooms were spacious, with a great bathroom, and the free washing machine was a nice extra. The location is peaceful while still being within walking distance of Nanjing Road and People's Square, though we had some trouble finding it at first. Breakfast is simple: hot buns and a hot drink in a cup that you pick up at reception. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Shanghai.

The tissues weren't refilled at all during my five nights. I had booked three rooms at the same price, but one was much smaller. When I asked to change rooms, the service got even ruder. At the front desk, she looked grumpy, was curt, spoke lazily, and didn't smile. One stay was enough for me.
