Hanting Hotel Shanghai the Bund

The room had a lovely view of the Bund, but the mildew and Febreze smell was strong. Staff were only moderately helpful at best, and the south Bund location wasn’t great. The area feels like an American urban renewal project. The concept of this hotel is cool, but the place feels rundown and looks like it needs fresh paint. It’s a cool-looking hotel, but that’s about it.

The location is good, and the hotel is generally clean, but there’s no service. There’s no room service, and breakfast is very basic. Starbucks has a better selection. The hotel has only 18 rooms, some large with a nespresso machine and some quite small.

A charming little place with a smashing view of the Huangpu River. The design is good, though the amenities are limited, and that’s not something I’d be too concerned about when staying here. I would have appreciated better service from the front desk.

The public areas look nice, but the rooms don’t, and most have no view. Staff were very rude and unhelpful, and the location is inconvenient. I wouldn’t recommend it.
