The room was nice, though both the room and toilet were a little small. It’s best to get a room on level 4, otherwise it becomes quite troublesome.

The location is excellent, about halfway between People's Square Station and East Nanjing Road Station. Each is around a 10-15 minute walk, with shops along the way. The hotel seems to have been expanded, and getting from reception to the room is a maze.

Breakfast changed each day, with plenty of options that suited Korean tastes. The freshly made jajangmyeon was especially worth trying, though it tasted different from the Korean version. The room was roomy and had a big TV, and staff were kind enough to let us check in early. They also gave us slippers and water. There was no refrigerator, and the air conditioning didn't work, so it got a little hot. I had booked a room without an outside-facing window, but it did have a window looking into the hallway. The location was ideal, right by the subway and in the same building as McDonald's.

The staff were all helpful and really friendly. It's close to the subway, and the room was kept clean and pleasant with daily housekeeping. I'd stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai. 👍
