The executive lounge made this stay for us. Sabrina and her team were thoughtful with every guest, and they took real care to accommodate my husband's selective dietary needs. The food, drinks, and service there are the best we've experienced so far. We were blown away by them, and so glad we booked lounge access. We came partly because Hilton beds are so comfortable, and the room was spacious too. The Jiangsu subway station is within walking distance. The gym is well equipped, and there's a hot spa in the bathroom for a relaxing dip afterward. Bring a swimming cap if you plan to use the pool. We'll definitely stay here again in Shanghai. In fact, after our Beijing trip, we'll come back for one more night before heading home to Christchurch.

This has become my new home in Beijing. The service was efficient, and the staff seemed to be doing their best to make the stay pleasant. The breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from, including fresh-squeezed orange juice, and the quality was pretty good overall. The suite was comfortable and nicely decorated, with a spectacular bathtub. The VIP lounge was pleasant too, with good food and nice views over Shanghai traffic.

I was impressed by the service, especially from the housekeeping team and the lounge management. At the front desk, one gentleman, I think his name was Eric Ye, really tried along with his team to make my stay memorable. I hope I got your name right. The executive suite felt luxurious, and the service was amazing. I stayed here last October, using both the lounge and restaurant, and I'm definitely coming back. One caution: I wouldn't book the hotel's private cars. They're handled by a third party, separate from the hotel staff, and the drivers from that company were unprofessional. We hired through another company for the rest of our trip.

The location works well for the new upcoming areas, and the staff were welcoming, did their best, and spoke English. The deluxe room was comfortable and roomy, and breakfast had a great selection. The hotel feels modern, new, and clean, with no smell of smoke.

Our wedding stay at Shanghai Central Hilton was supposed to be memorable for the right reasons. We chose it because of Hilton's reputation and service standards, but what happened at the entrance that morning has left us with a regret we can't undo. Our bride was inside the lead wedding car while filming was underway, with three other wedding vehicles briefly stopped at the main entrance for the pickup. All the cars had wedding flowers and were clearly part of a wedding convoy. A security staff member used aggressive, scolding language to make the cars leave, saying they were blocking traffic. Our driver calmly explained what was happening and asked for basic understanding, but the staff member wouldn't communicate or coordinate professionally. As the groom, I asked why another nearby vehicle, unoccupied and not doing any service, was allowed to stay parked while our car had to leave immediately. No reasonable explanation came. Instead, our cars were driven away in front of our guests, photographers, and family, disrupting both the wedding process and its atmosphere. My bride, a foreign national who had travelled a long way with her parents and relatives for our Shanghai wedding, was deeply upset and cried there. The public humiliation and emotional distress can't be undone. When we later reported the incident, the hotel's handling was disappointing too. Security showed selectively edited footage recorded without consent, which showed little understanding of how serious this was for a wedding. I'm asking for basic respect, professionalism, and proper coordination during an important life event. Entrance security should manage traffic proactively instead of escalating things through confrontation. I hope Hilton reviews its entrance security training and management. A wedding stays in your memory for life, and this experience has left us with a regret that can never be corrected.
