Getting to the airport is easy: it's directly connected, just a few steps from the lobby to the check-in counters. The hotel is very new, with friendly staff and a large, functional room. The top-floor pool is nice and spacious, breakfast has plenty of options, and the club lounge is a pleasant place to spend time. It opens onto a courtyard and has a good range of food and drinks during happy hours.

The hotel opened in 2025 and has awesome rooms. Breakfast was amazing, with a big street-food selection, one of the best I've had recently in China. There's a nice gym and an executive lounge, though I didn't have time to use the lounge. It's attached to SHA T1 and closer to Shanghai than the T2 hotels. Getting there from Hongqiao station is a bit of a pain: take metro line 10 to T1, enter the airport, go upstairs, then walk the whole length of T1. Best to take Didi to or from the train station.

The location was excellent. Once past a single security gate, you were right at Hongqiao Airport's departure area. Service was prompt, with a robot coming to serve you. The room was fairly clean, though the bathroom water pressure was very low.
