Hilton Shanghai Hongqiao

Henry was incredibly kind and friendly, and made me feel at home even 10,000 kilometers-miles away from my own house. Dinner could be slow without proper on following up. The property is beautifully maintained, with excellent amenities. The sauna and pool on the third floor are a great way to relax after a long day. My stay at Hilton Honjao was outstanding. From the King Bed to the Premium and Deluxe rooms, everything was top-notch. Rooms were spacious, comfortable, had great views, and everything worked flawlessly.

Two young travellers, aged 19 and 22, were in China and Shanghai for the first time when they became ill during their stay at Hilton Shanghai Hongqiao. Far from home, weak, inexperienced, and overwhelmed, they were suddenly vulnerable in a foreign country. I was in Switzerland trying to help from a distance, with the quiet fear a parent or friend feels when loved ones are sick far away. The hotel staff responded with calm, dignity, and sincere care. Mr. Tom Wang personally went to their room, spoke gently with them, reassured them, and helped arrange what they needed. That was more than hotel service. He represented trust between people who don't share a language, culture, or country. What could have been frightening became a relief, and loneliness turned into connection. The young guests were deeply moved by the kindness they received, as well as impressed by Shanghai and China. They'll carry the memory for the rest of their lives, and so will I. This showed me that hospitality is about seeing the person in front of you and choosing to care, beyond luxury, efficiency, or five stars. Please pass our deepest gratitude to Tom Wang and the whole team. This compassion builds bridges between cultures and reminds us we're connected. Thanks to the parcels counter staff for looking after my parcels and bringing them up to my room. Angell at reception was friendly and helpful at check-in too. I really appreciated the good service during my pleasant stay at Hilton Hongqiao Shanghai.

The assistant managers gave good service, and the restaurant staff were attentive. It's a neat, clean hotel and I'll stay again when I need to go to SHA Airport. I'm less sure there's much to do in the area.
