Hilton Shanghai Zhangjiang Science City

We chose this brand new Hilton because it was the closest one to Disneyland. The hotel has a driver to Disney, and the trip takes about 30 minutes, so plan for that. Our room was spacious, clean, and had enough places for our suitcases and other things. The bathroom was very big, and the swimming pool was nice. We had dinner and breakfast in the Executive Lounge. The selection was smaller than in their proper dining area, but it was still enough to satisfy us.

It's in a relatively new area, and the hotel opened in early 2025. This isn't downtown Shanghai, so travel takes a significant amount of time. If you don't mind using public transport, it can be a good value for modern, spacious accommodation. Service was good too. I'd definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was a highlight, with an impressive, tasty spread of both Western and Chinese food. The rooms were immaculately clean, and the bright, well-kept hallways added to the comfortable feel. The hotel is thoughtfully designed and beautifully decorated, mixing modern looks with artistic details. What made the stay feel five-star, though, was the service. Before arriving, I emailed the hotel with some concerns and got a prompt, reassuring reply. In the lobby, we were met with warm smiles, helped with our luggage, and personally shown to our room. The team felt professional and genuinely warm, and every interaction came with a helpful attitude and a smile. Hilton Shanghai Zhangjiang Science City gave me one of my best hotel experiences. It brings back the heartfelt hospitality that many hotels seem to have lost. I can't recommend it highly enough, and I'm already looking forward to coming back.
