We were glad the hotel let us leave our bag there for a week while we travelled around China. The staff spoke English, which helped, and I was impressed by how clean everything was, the service, and the breakfast. Weekday breakfast runs from 6:30 to 9:30. On weekends it might start half an hour later and end half an hour later, though I'm not sure. It's a moderately paced walk of under 15 minutes to Shanghai Hongqiao railway station, then about 10 more minutes to Hongqiao Airport. Getting back into the railway station from the hotel was a bit confusing at first. We eventually found that you can go through an underground walkway and shopping area that leads into the station, or walk near the station and take the pedestrian Sky bridge. Either way, allow extra time for the walk back.
