Nanjing Road was right at our doorstep, and we could walk to the Bund in about 15 minutes, so it was a fantastic base for exploring Shanghai. Mr sameer khan Hans the lobby and molly at the Restaurant manager went above and beyond, treating us like family and helping us out. Our room was modern, clean, and surprisingly quiet because of the good soundproofing. We'd definitely stay at the Holiday Inn on Nanjing Road again. 😊 fatimah & saleh bogary

The breakfast area was awkward to navigate, and it was hard to find a comfortable place to sit. The room next to ours kept opening the door and windows and playing very loud music for hours, with no response from hotel staff. Service was below standard, and some staff came across as arrogant. When our coach arrived, the guard told the driver to drop us at the roadside and wouldn't let the bus enter the parking lot or hotel entrance. Our tour guides argued with them, and then we were able to get off and bring our luggage safely to the parking lot instead of the roadside. The hotel wasn't that bad, but the management team could do better if they put in more effort. 👏

The rooms were really nice and clean, and the staff provided great service. Communicating was the only challenge for me as someone who doesn't speak Mandarin.

There's a nice riverside path for a short walk, and the metro is very close. This is a clean, convenient IHG Holiday Inn. The shrimp at breakfast was amazingly good, though it may have just been an occasional thing.
