The team handled the issue I raised with Jason, the assistant manager, promptly and professionally. That positive response deserves recognition. The management team is outstanding, and the staff are very pleasant. It's a non-smoking hotel with big, quiet rooms and spacious bathrooms. They provide complimentary water every day, and the complimentary coffee was among the best tasting and most aromatic I've had in years of travel. There are several malls and shopping centers nearby, but restaurants and the station are a bit farther, about a 15-minute walk. The room matched the pictures. Still, for a five-star hotel, there are too many kinks. The old hotel isn't worn down, but the rooms could use some renovation and bidets. I hope they fix the air conditioning too. Even with the temperature set at 10C and cooling at maximum, our room stayed too warm for us. I'll definitely be back. Thanks for making the stay enjoyable and memorable!

It's a decent property, quite close to the airport and the new year exhibition centre. But when three of us stayed in April 2018, the front desk teams kept changing every few days and hardly any information was passed along. That caused a lot of problems for us.

Two things were good: breakfast and the service. The people here try to be nice. But the room air smelled like dusty old farts, and all the rooms seemed to have it, even after I switched rooms. The windows wouldn't open, so you were stuck breathing air that felt like it had been there since the 1980s. It was disgusting and made it really hard to sleep. I felt sick after a couple of nights. The dining room service was expensive and not very good. They wouldn't let you pay after checking out, so if you didn't have cash you had to leave that smelly, dusty room to pay. The room design was old, dull, and boring. If you've got money, find a really good place. If not, save up and find a hotel with aired rooms.

I'm a frequent Hilton traveler, and this is one of the best. For a Hilton Honours executive member, the value is exceptional. A few minor annoyances, and most staff have limited English, so don't expect philosophical conversations. This place will reset your expectations for service, value, and amenities.
