The hotel met everything my fiancé and I needed for a one-night stop: an affordable price, a comfortable and clean room, and a location near Jiaotong University. The price felt fair, and we were both satisfied. It's on a fairly central street lined with restaurants and convenience stores, and the hotel itself is clean. The woman at the front desk spoke English. We'll most likely stay here again on future trips to Shanghai.

The price is reasonable, so I often stay here. The rooms are a good size, though the hotel is a little old. There aren't any Japanese TV channels, and the internet TV picture quality is poor. Staff speak Chinese and English, but not Japanese. It's a shower only, no bathtub, and the water pressure isn't great, though usable. You can rent a hair dryer at the front desk. Breakfast can be ordered, but I haven't tried it.
